Grand Hotel Gardone

Beautiful hotel - full of character and old world charm. It is located right on the Lake front and sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise/sunset was stunning. The rooms have been modernised and are comfortable with more than ample storage space. The pool area has ample sun beds and the whole area is kept immaculately clean.The staff are amazing - from the reception team to the waiting staff and the housemaids, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is located right next to the ferry jetty and getting around the Lake was incredibly easy from the hotel, particularly with the discount cards given on arrival by the reception team. All in all, this is one of those hotels you should visit, even if only for the experience. Absolutely wonderful.

Just loved the faded glam! Please do not change the vibe! The details are amazing! The old wooden floors, panels, lamps, furniture and garden makes it all so special! Our suite was so spacious and with a large balcony from where you could se the piazza and the lake.

On the water with the pool and access to swim in the lake, a little walk to fantastic restaurants and the boats, this historic place is amazing. The staff were friendly and we were able to take our small dogs (there was even an outdoor pet friendly area with loungers). We loved it and would love to go back again for longer.

Amazing hotel, beautiful views on the Garda lake, nice pool with a lot of sunbeds. We really liked the vibe of the hotel, feels like you are staying in a palace. Large, clean rooms, comfortable beds, bathroom with a bathtub. Slippers and bathrobes. The AC was working well. The staff was very helpful, they organized a great private boat ride on the lake. Really recommend! Will come back 😊

Beautiful historic hotel on the lake side in Gardone Riviera. We had two rooms with balcony and lake views which was stunning. Rooms were comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Buffet breakfast excellent and location of eating on terrace amazing. Pool and surrounding area well kept and comfortable. Could swim directly into lake also which was lovely. Restaurants beside lake just outside hotel grounds were reasonable value and again with an amazing location. Ferry stop just outside hotel. Son used gym and said good ( and he is fussy..). About to shut for complete re development. I can see why as now probably needed to keep up with modern taste. But this didn’t detract from our experience at all; it is a traditional lakeside hotel and should be taken as such. Staff were polite, helpful and always attentive. Thank you Grand Hotel Gardone.
